Heart of a Wanderer

Heart of a Wanderer is one of those paintings that emerge into existence in a thundering like manner.  It is 6 feet by 4 feet original oil on canvas.

The inspiration for this piece just seemed to happen – an inspiration coming from the deep subconscious need for change, determination, leadership, decision making and movement.  I literally worked on this piece for a solid two weeks (between drying times), finding myself coming home after work and putting 4 hours into the painting every evening.  We have heard the term “Watershed Moment” used a lot lately – and this is mine.  This painting instigated me to move forwards with some amazing dreams and is now finding me packing up my studio in Half Moon Bay and moving to San Diego.
